Malibu Dream Resort Listed for $52 Million

A home known as the Malibu Dream Resort is on the market and ready to dance the night away.

The 31-acre vacation home and event venue at 12680 Yellow Hill Road is asking $52 million, Mansion Global reported. The price amounts to $5,778 per square foot and nearly $1.7 million per acre. The owner wasn’t identified.

The property, which includes 10 acres of flat land, is “one of the largest pads in the Malibu zip code,” Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California agent Tomer Fridman said.

It last sold in 2020 for $8 million. In recent years, it has served as a high-end vacation home managed by Living the Dream, a Los Angeles-based real estate company specializing in luxury rentals, as well as a wedding and event venue.

The listing is handled by Tomer Fridman and Lior Totaiv of Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California and Rudy Malka and Shay Gozlan of Living the Dream.

Asking rents have ranged from $85,000 to $320,000 per month. Short-term rentals are also available at $13,285 for two nights.

“The Malibu rental market has actually never been stronger. In fact we’ve seen consistent demand and breaking record rental rates, particularly for unique trophy estates like this one,” said Rudy Malka of Living the Dream. “The decision to sell was driven more by timing, pride of ownership and the property’s evolution than by any change in market conditions.”

The more than 9,000-square-foot home was built in 1994 and has undergone several remodels and updates in recent years.

It has eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms with double-height ceilings, large windows and hardwood floors. The manse’s great room and primary bedroom open to the backyard. Other amenities include a commercial-grade kitchen with wine storage, a gym, a media room and an eight-car garage.

An observation tower offers views of the property. There’s an infinity pool and spa, landscaped gardens and several terraces, plus a lighted tennis court, walking paths and a koi pond. A second pool and lounge area is in another yard.
