Eddie McClintock lands a buyer in Sherman Oaks

Eddie McClintock of “Warehouse 13” fame put his Sherman Oaks contemporary on the market at $2.595 million and in days it was in escrow.

The streamlined Midcentury Modern, built in 1959, captures expansive Valley views through walls of glass. The 3,739 square feet of designer-done space features recessed lighting and high ceilings.

A fireplace anchors the great/living room, and the kitchen has a center island and breakfast bar. There is a dining area, five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

A separate office overlooks the free-form swimming pool. Patios, lawn and a sports court complete the nearly one acre of grounds.

McClintock, 47, starred on the Syfy network science fiction series from 2009 to 2014. He also starred in the series “A.U.S.A.” (2003), “Holding the Baby” (1998-2002) and “Stark Raving Mad” (1999-2000).

Public records show the actor bought the property two years ago for $2.245 million.

Andrew Manning of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties is the listing agent.
